This is an interesting take on the relationship between theory and practice. It argues, in part, that one of the great philosophers of the last century changed his orientation towards knowledge and language based on his concrete experiences as a classroom teacher.

I think theory and practice supplement each other. Theory provides a base for practice, and practice proves theory. It is like whether there are hens before eggs or eggs exist before hens. So complicated...Personally, I don't like to learn theory but I like to practice. I think practice is more important than knowing the theory.
